Once there was a kind shoemaker who worked very hard.

But he had only enough leather left to make one last pair of shoes.

He carefully cut the leather, said a hopeful prayer, and went to bed.

The next morning, he was amazed to find a beautiful pair of shoes already made!

A customer happily bought them, giving the shoemaker enough money to buy more leather.
