The Moon Who Forgot the Stars
The Lonely Moon
Milo the Moon loved shining brightly in the night sky.
Every evening, he glowed proudly while the little stars twinkled around him.
But one night, Milo wanted to be the brightest thing in the sky.
"I don't need all those tiny stars!" he announced. "I'll shine all by myself!"
The stars looked at one another sadly and drifted behind some fluffy clouds.

Something Is Missing
Milo shone as brightly as he could.
But the sky looked strangely empty.
"There are no twinkling stars, no sparkling patterns, and nobody to play star-counting games with," he sighed.
A passing cloud asked, "Don't you miss your friends?"
Milo thought for a moment.
"I wanted to be special," he admitted, "but now everything feels lonely."
He called out, "Stars! I'm sorry. Will you come back?"

A Sky Full of Friends
The little stars peeked out from behind the clouds.
"We forgive you!" they chimed.
Soon, the sky sparkled with hundreds of tiny lights.
Milo smiled. He still shone brightly, but now he loved sharing the sky with his friends.
"Together, we make the night beautiful!" he cheered.
And that night, the Moon and the stars twinkled happily until morning.
